Role Description

The training programme includes:-

• providing office and on-site support for, and development and maintenance of Oracle reporting software and performance monitoring software;

• producing technical and process documentation;

• designing and developing PL/SQL blocks of application code that can be shared by multiple forms, reports and data management applications.

NEP Shared System Group and iSOFT Business Solutions have developed a Graduate Training Programme, working with some of the leading experts in the field of Oracle e-Business Suite Technology. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with a desire to pursue a career in this field.

The two-year training programme will cover technical and functional skills within Oracle e-Business Suite.

It is structured to offer graduates the opportunity to gain technical skills and knowledge firstly at iSOFT Business Solutions, based in Letchworth, and later at NEP Shared System Group based in Stokesley, North Yorkshire.

The Graduate Training Programme has been specifically designed to focus on key skills to support the Oracle Applications systems. 

This role offers graduates the opportunity to access a key package of training, including Oracle courses, to become an expert in the field of Oracle Technology, a global solution.

This opportunity is available to any graduate with a degree in an IT-based discipline, 2:1 or above, who wishes to embark on a training that will enhance their career potential

Skills and Qualities

The graduate, as well as having a degree, should have knowledge of Unix, Linux, Oracle Relational Database Systems, SQL and PL SQL. 

Knowledge of Oracle development tools is also advantageous. The graduate should also be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills, as the role will require interaction with clients and partners.

The designated base during the first 12 months of employment will be at iSOFT Business Solutions Offices in Letchworth.

The designated base during the following 12 months of employment will be at NEP Shared System Group offices in Stokesley, North Yorkshire.  There may be a requirement for the Graduate Trainee to travel to Consortium Organisations and undertake other travel as required.
